A Malaysian man died after a pill that was given to him as an antidote for Viagra, authorities said on Tuesday.
Malaysia's deputy mayor Janjib Al Bahadur said the man, who was 20 years old, had suffered a stroke as well as multiple organ injuries and was thought to have died from overdose.
Al Bahadur said the man was "apparently dead" and had not been in a relationship since he was discharged from the Malaysian hospital Tuesday.
Al Bahadur said the man had been found alive in a local pharmacy in the Kuala Lumpur area in the early hours of Saturday morning. The man had been admitted to hospital after having been prescribed an erection drug called "Viagra" by a doctor.
He was taken to a local hospital in Singapore's Bali, where he was pronounced dead.
The men were all in the same boat, which was found to be one-and-a-half hours from Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian Daily Inquirer reported.
"The man's wife and children were in the boat, and he was a very beautiful man," the newspaper said. "The boat was also a private one that was taken by the men and the wife, and the man was taken to the hospital where he died."
Malaysia's Ministry of Health said it had "reviewing" the case and it had not yet decided whether the man had died from any underlying causes.
The Ministry said the man's death was not a result of overdose but of "a severe cardiovascular problem."
It said the death had been caused by a drug that had been found in a drug bottle in a pharmacy near the boat.
The ministry said the man's death had been attributed to a "severe cardiovascular problem," which was caused by the drug's effect on blood flow.
"We encourage all Malaysians to be vigilant and to seek medical help when there is a problem that could be caused by a drug taken in a way that may not be effective and that is not safe for everyone to use," the ministry said in a statement.
An autopsy was carried out on Tuesday for a suspected overdose, which has not yet been confirmed by results of the blood tests.

"As of now, the investigation is still ongoing. We are continuing to work with the Ministry of Health and the Malaysian Drug Authority with regard to the death of the man," the company said.
The ministry said it had not yet decided whether the man had died from any underlying causes. It did not know if he had other symptoms or had died from any other medical problems.Malaysia's Ministry of Health said it had issued an order to the local pharmacy that the man's death had not been caused by a drug taken in a way that could not be effective for those who use it.
